Bedford Community Table & Food Pantry, Town Center, 12 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA. Provides a dinner every Thursday evening from 5pm to 6:15pm in the cafeteria at Town Center and distributes non-perishable groceries from 4:30 to 6pm to individuals and families who can prove need. 781-275-7355.

Bedford Family Connection (BFC) offers events, drop-in playroom, and a monthly newsletter for families with young children.

Family TIES (Together In Enhancing Support) of Massachusetts: statewide information and parent-to-parent support project for families of children with special needs and chronic illness.

First Connections: parenting education, support groups, playgroups (Concord) There are special interest playgroups for adoptive families, single parents, moms of multiples, “40 somethings,” first time moms, postpartum challenges, and more.

Friends for Matty Foundation, Inc. provides financial assistance to families with children who are battling cancer. In memory of five-year-old Matty Langone of Bedford, MA, who lost his battle with neuroblastoma in 2009.
