Highlighted Community Event Announcement:
Come join Bedford’s 11th annual PMC Kids Ride – Saturday, June 13, 9:00 – 1:00 pm at John Glenn Middle School in Bedford. Last year’s ride raised more than $140,000, with 380 youths participating. Riders, who range
in age from toddlers to those in high school, can choose from many route options, including a trike-friendly obstacle course, a half-mile, 3 , 5, or 10 mile bike route, or older cyclists can try a 12 mile off-road route into Concord.
After the rides, families are invited to take part in a celebration, including kid-friendly activities, music and food. It is a great event where kids love riding to support a great cause and have the opportunity to be involved in the community. Kids do their part by bringing in donations through lemonade stands or bake sales. All money raised goes to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
For more information, including various route options, or to register as a Rider or Volunteer, please visit www.kids.pmg.org/bedford.aspx. For questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you see errors, gaps, things you want added/changed, recommendations, critiques, please send me an email. I’d love to hear from you. If you would like to advertise, post your clubs events, suggest your favorite summer camp, piano teacher or outing location relevant to the BedfordKids community, I’ve love hear about that too.
– Thanks, Jenny.
